About Chief Hank Blanchard

Chief Deputy Hank Blanchard

Chief Deputy Hank Blanchard has over 35 years experience as a Texas Peace Officer. Sheriff Christopher Forbis appointed him as Captain of the Enforcement Division in January of 2021, and then promoted him to Chief Deputy in July of that year. Chief Blanchard and his wife Denise are active members of Polk Street United Methodist Church in Amarillo. They have two grown sons and two granddaughters.
